Amanda Schultz

2007-2009 Cohort

Amanda received her MPH from the University of Illinois-Chicago School of Public Health. She completed her placement with the Milwaukee Health Department and the Walker’s Point Community Clinic, as well as Core el Centro. At the Milwaukee Health Department Amanda conducted research for the development of a new Men’s Health Division. She also developed an evaluation for a community based diabetes prevention program. With Core el Centro, Amanda developed a curriculum for health promoters that is being utilized to build capacity for health promotion among the Latino Community in Milwaukee. The Wisconsin Population Health Service Fellowship is an initiative of the UW Population Health Institute’s Mobilizing Action Toward Community Health (MATCH) Group. The Fellowship program is funded by the Wisconsin Partnership Program at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.
