Bailey Murph

2014-2016 Cohort

Bailey holds a Masters degree in Public Health from the UW-Milwaukee Joseph J. Zilber School of Public Health. She is a graduate of the Graduate Education Diversity Internship (GEDI) of the American Evaluation Association, an internship focused on intensive training in culturally responsive evaluation and a graduate of the City Leaders Program at CityMatCH, a training program focused on urban maternal and child health. A strong advocate for life-long service leadership and civic engagement, she is a mentor for the AmeriCorps City Year Program and serves on the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh LGBTQA+ Alumni Executive Board. Bailey completed her Fellowship with United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County, where she was took leadership in designing and facilitating an environmental scan for the Milwaukee Lifecourse Initiative for Healthy Families (LIHF). As the Health Portfolio Manager at United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County where she managed United Way's largest investment of 66 programs that addressed maternal health and infant health, teen pregnancy, violence prevention, behavioral and mental health, disabilities, and health care access. She coordinated strategies to identify service gaps for community partners and helped to implement equity-based funding opportunities. She also partnered with Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) to evaluate the fidelity of MPS’ Human Grown and Development Curriculum implementation. Bailey also served as Chair of the Steering Committee for Milwaukee’s 6th Annual Project Homeless Connect. Preceptors: Nicole Angresano
